Yes! One Horse Studio is trusted by independent bands and artists for all stages of recording, including production, engineering, mixing, and mastering.
Our approach to making records is simple: make something honest that you/your band is proud of, and that you enjoyed the process of creating. Every project is different - some bands track an entire EP live in a matter of days, some require a weekend just to get the perfect drum tracks. One Horse is designed to be a one-stop-shop for making a record, where taking a project from demos all the way to masters is common practice.

We’ve found that sticking to roughly an 8-hour day is best for everyone. It’s dangerously easy to get sucked into a recording project, especially when there’s a lot to accomplish and you’re in the zone… but burnout is very real!
We encourage lockout sessions, 2-4 days at a time (or more when possible!) to keep the flow without trying to cram an entire record into 1 day. We pride ourselves on being efficient and practical, but also on allocating the right amount of time to get the best takes, and still leave room for experimentation!

There’s plentiful parking available onsite, as well as street parking in the area.
Load-in is simple, and requires only a few steps from the parking lot to a large freight elevator.

The studio is just around the corner from Moody St. in Waltham, so there’s a plethora of dining options nearby.
We’re also within walking distance to a beautiful path by the Charles River, for times where you need to clear your head during a session.
